Doctoral (PhD) educational programs are an integral part of the educational concept and Development Strategy of the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic. The goal of the PhD program is to train world-class scientific personnel with fundamental scientific training, possessing modern information technologies,
including methods of obtaining, processing and storing scientific information, who are able to organize and conduct research activities in the chosen scientific specialty.
Doctoral study programs (PhD) provide fundamental educational, methodological and research training and in-depth study of disciplines in the direction of scientific specialization and are developed on the basis of similar programs of leading European,
American and Asian universities, taking into account domestic realities in the system of higher and postgraduate education.

In 1999 and 2009, doctoral dissertations (PhDs) were defended by citizens of America and Germany for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Medicine. IUK diplomas have been recognized in these countries.
Doctoral study programs (PhD) provide fundamental educational, methodological and research training and in-depth study of disciplines in the direction of scientific specialization and are developed on the basis of similar programs of leading European,

HISTORY OF HIGHER SCHOOL OF DOCTORATE (PhD)
The Higher School of Doctoral Studies (PhD) has been opened at the URPC "MUK" since September 1, 2013 on the basis of the Decision of the Academic Council No. 7 dated April 16, 2013.

In accordance with the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2013-2017, Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 733/1 dated 12.12.
12 "On the organization of an experiment for the development and implementation of doctoral programs (PhD)" the working group developed Temporary state requirements for universities implementing pilot doctoral programs (PhD) of postgraduate professional education.
The Temporary Regulations for the implementation of pilot doctoral programs of postgraduate professional education (PhD) have been developed. In 2013, MUK received a license from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (No. LG130000028) for the implementation of experimental educational programs for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics,
business management and public health. The aforementioned pilot PhD programs have started at MUK, BFEA, KGUSTA named after N. Isanov, KNAU named after K.I. Scriabin, KNU them. J. Balasagyn (IIMOP) and KSTU named after. I. Razzakov. Subsequently, another university was included in the pilot program - the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the Graduate School of Doctoral Studies (PhD) and teachers constantly undergo internships and trainings at the local and international levels, actively participate in international conferences and seminars.

MISSION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE HIGHER DOCTOR SCHOOL
The mission of the Graduate School of Doctorate is aimed at the development of intellectual mastery,
as well as to meet the needs of the local and foreign labor market for highly qualified personnel through the implementation of continuous multilevel education based on domestic traditions and the best world experience.

OUR OBJECTIVES:
-
Transformation of educational programs of PhD doctoral studies in accordance with the world practice of training scientific personnel;
- Ensuring a quality staff of teachers and researchers working on PhD doctoral programs;
- Providing high-quality training for doctoral students aimed at strengthening the research competence of students;
- Creation of a favorable research environment.
The key difference between the doctoral programs of the Graduate School of Doctoral Studies is to ensure the optimal balance and logical relationship between teaching and research activities of students, aimed at training scientific researchers corresponding to the world level.
