The "Economics and Management" Department was established in 2015 under the name "Business and Economics Management." In 2017, the department was renamed to "Economics and Management."
The mission of the department is to prepare highly qualified specialists with the necessary level of professional competencies in the field of economics and management, essential for successful activities in education, science, and the modern economy. The strategic goal of the department - is to create an effective system of education and upbringing based on the improvement of all aspects of its activities. The objectives include the following: 1. Increasing the intellectual potential and developing the research base of the department. 2. Enhancing the professionalism of the faculty. 3. Implementing progressive educational technologies and applying innovative methods in organizing the educational process. 4. Forming an effective system of interaction with stakeholders. 5. Activating interdepartmental, interuniversity, including international cooperation.
Educational activities:
Educational activities of the department in the fields of "Economics" and "State and Municipal Management" are conducted based on the State Educational Standards of the Kyrgyz Republic. Additionally, students of the department have the opportunity to study under the double-diploma program and undergo internships at partner universities of the IUKR. Upon completion of the double-diploma program, graduates receive two diplomas: a state diploma of the Kyrgyz Republic and a European-style DS diploma.
