c was founded in 2014 and is a graduating department in two directions "Philological Education" and "Journalism". Since the opening of the department, the main task has been to ensure the training of relevant personnel in professional education, which includes both general theoretical disciplines defined by the state standard and modern technologies of professional journalistic and philological activity, including special courses and electives.

The department trains specialists in the following specialties:
- English teacher
- German teacher
- Turkish teacher
- Russian teacher
- Russian language teacher for foreigners.
- International journalism
- Teleradio journalism
- Internet journalism
- Religious journalism and sports journalism.

The teachers of the department are active teachers of practice who combine teaching work with scientific activity. The department consists of 21 teachers. Of them 2 doctors of sciences, 4 candidates of sciences, 1 associate professor and 9 senior lecturers and 5 teachers.

The pedagogical staff of the department are highly qualified teachers, who periodically improve their professional level at advanced training courses and internships in the country and abroad (Republic of Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Turkey, Germany).

Currently, more than 200 students are studying at the directions of the department. Within the framework of the department, students undergo educational, familiarization and production practice in various state structures and institutions of non-governmental nature. Thus, the students of the direction "Philological Education" pass practice in universities, secondary schools, gymnasiums, lyceums of Bishkek city and regions of the republic. And those studying in the direction of "Journalism" in TV and radio companies, newspapers and magazines, news agencies, Internet publications and press services of state bodies of regional and republican level. Teaching is conducted with the use of the latest educational technologies, including modern computers, video equipment and multimedia learning tools.

Upon graduation, graduates are employed in their respective profiles. These are metropolitan and regional general and special educational institutions, as well as various editorial offices of newspapers and magazines, TV and radio companies, information agencies, as well as state and corporate press services, advertising and public relations agencies, public administration bodies of different levels. In addition, they conduct research and teaching activities at various universities.

Mission of the direction "Philological Education":
- To provide training of competitive specialists with foreign-language professional communication, meeting all the requirements of modern society.

Mission of the direction "Journalism":
- Training of a modern representative of the fourth power, capable of determining a balanced decision in the presentation of information, intellectually developed and erudite, having an analytical mindset, ensuring the ability to function in practical journalism in the domestic and foreign media sphere.

Term of study - 4 years on a contractual basis.

Educational activity of the department in the direction of training "Philological Education", is carried out on the basis of the State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Student research work is an integral part of education and training of qualified specialists. Research work contributes to the formation of readiness of future specialists to the creative realization of knowledge, skills and abilities received at the institute, to gain research experience. The Department of "Philology and Communication" of the AC MCCR cooperates with universities of faculties and departments not only domestic, but also foreign countries engaged in the training of personnel in the relevant areas.

It is not the first year our students of the department of "Philology and Communication" are interning under the program "Mevlana" Turkey, "Orkhon process" in Turkestan Republic of Kazakhstan. International programs give an opportunity to our students to get a great experience, develop their language skills, expand their horizons, see other countries. The department is proud of its students and fully supports them in all their endeavors.
