Educational and methodological work:
Our department conducts significant work on the methodology of classes, individual work, and student consultations, ensuring the training of qualified specialists in the field of Oriental Studies.
Instruction is conducted in Russian. Every year, the department staff reviews and updates teaching materials, tests, practical assignments, and lectures for students.
The department maintains a large library of specialized educational and methodological literature, both in the original language and published by faculty members. An audiovisual teaching aids room is equipped with multimedia tools in accordance with qualification requirements.
A modular, point-based, rating system for assessing student knowledge has been implemented in the educational process. For this purpose, questions, assessment papers, and tests of varying difficulty levels have been developed. Exams are administered using a set of questions that must cover all the material covered in the subject.
The main educational goal of the department is to train specialists in disciplines that ensure the development of the professional competencies of future translators enrolled in the specialist training program.
